About Evaluation


Teacher trainees are evaluated on the basis of their performance. Evaluation is carried out  during four semesters as follows :

Frame-work of B.Ed. Course for 2 Years

  1. Total working days for one year would be 200 days. so (2 years X 200 days x 6 Hours) = 2400 Hours
  2. Total working days for each Semester will be 100 days.

24 Hours will be the base for one credit. so 100 credit will be in toto

  • Theory : 10 Credit has been allotted. One credit is to be given to a trainee for his/ her 24 hour attendance.
  • Practical: 15 credit has been allotted. 3 credit is for field work. 2 credit is for EPc Course-1 Remaining 10 credit is to be allotted by making trainee an active participation in class room working. for this following methods/ Techniques can be utilized. following list is suggestive Teacher can innovate new methods / Techniques The purpose is to make trainee active in the class-room.

Suggestive list for EPC 1 Course is as under:

  1. Trainee is expected to read at least four Books for Which following methods can be utilized.
  2. He / She can read out the summary of the book before other trainees. He /She can submit detailed notes on the book which he/ she have read with his / her comments.
  3. A group of four – five trainees can be formulated. That group may discuss the book which each of them has read. (courses is attached separately)

Explanation:

15 Weeks for Internship have been suggested in original Draft of NCTE. This leaves only one week for course 301which is in sufficient. So the duration period for Internship will be 14 week So that 16 Days for course 301 can be allotted.

Theory: 2 credit has been allotted. one credit is to be given to a trainee for his/ her 24 hour attendance.

Practical: Total 23 credit has been allotted. Two credit has been allotted by making trainee an active participation in class room working (For methods / Techniques refer to the list given in Sem.I Programme)

21 Credit is allotted for the practical work in Internship (See table – 12 & 13)
